Which books are on your autumn/fall TBR?
She Reads Novels 
I’ve been promising myself to read ‘Lessons in Chemistry’ by Bonnie Garmus after seeing Brie Larson’s portrayal of the main character on YouTube. Hopefully I can shoehorn it in before Christmas!
I’ll be interested to hear what you think if you manage to squeeze it in! I know a lot of people have loved it, but I can’t decide if it’s something I might enjoy or not.
I’ve read the first three of your list plus The Voyage Home. I can’t remember much of God is an Englishmanas I read it yeaars ago, but at the time I was reading lots of Delderfield’s books and loved them. Passenger to Frankfurt is not one of Christie’s best, but ok and I really enjoyed The Blind Assassin. So you have some lovely books in store.
I’ve just started the Delderfield book and am enjoying it so far. I’ve loved some of his others so have high hopes for it. And yes, I’ve heard that Passenger to Frankfurt isn’t a great one, but I would like to read all of Christie’s books eventually anyway!
I love the God is an Englishman trilogy!
I’m hoping I’ll love it as well! I really enjoyed his A Horseman Riding By trilogy.
The Bells of Westminster looks interesting!
I love the cover! I have read some other books by Leonora Nattrass and enjoyed them, so I’m hoping that will be another good one.
Looks like a good selection of books for your fall reading. I had a hard time limiting my fall reading list to just ten books. The Glassmaker and The Royal Rebel look interesting, as does The Labyrinth House Murders. Happy reading all of these. 😀

I have books piled on my nightstand, filling up the inside of my nightstand and piled next to the bedroom window. So many books, so little time. However, my next few books are going to be (for my Century of Reading project) School for Love by Olivia Manning, I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith, and Young Man with a Horn by Dorothy Baker. I have already read my books for the 1970’s club. I also have at the top of my pile the newest British Library Women Writers book, The Camomile by Catherine Carswell, and another Furrowed Middlebrow book, The Dancing Bear by Frances Faviell. Finally, from my regular pile, the next two books to emerge are The Inconvenient Indian by Thomas King and The Whole Art of Detection: Lost Mysteries of Sherlock Holmes by Lyndsay Faye.
I enjoyed I Capture the Castle, but I haven’t read any of the other books you mentioned there. I do have a copy of The Dancing Bear, although I’m not sure when I’ll have time to read it.
It’s been a long time since I read I Capture the Castle, but I remember liking it a lot.
The only one I’ve read here is The Blind Assassin, and I barely remember that one! It might be time for a reread. I have several of Elizabeth Chadwick’s books on my shelf waiting for me to get to them.

The Royal Rebel is Elizabeth Chadwick’s new book published this month, but I still have some of her older books waiting on my shelf too. I’ll get to them eventually. I’m looking forward to The Blind Assassin – I’ve wanted to read it for years but have been put off by the length!
The Bells of Westminster is on my autumn TBR too (I refuse to call it fall… 😉 )
Definitely autumn, not fall! I hope The Bells of Westminster is a good one. I did enjoy some of Leonora Nattrass’s previous books.
